earnest blount - drake - cameras (earnest blount remix)

Upon browsing WEDIDIT collective's website, I couldn't overlook this remix of Drake's "Cameras" by Earnest Blount. Earnest Blount adds a perfect balance of beats reflecting the technological age tensioned with soul roots that results in a timeless sound wrapped in funk and IDM-like grooves, turning Drake's original track on its head, which itself samples Jon B.'s "Calling On You".

Earnest Blount is an NYC DJ whose jazzbeats, experimental soul music radio show, The Sativa Sessions, can be found at Barnard College Radio, more information here.
